Speaking of Yosemite - here's another possible issue. You have to bite the bullet and install everything from scratch. You NEVER want to use MA to bring programs over - it can be done but you WILL have issues like you're having now. ![]() Also - how did you get PT10 installed on Yosemite? There's only two ways that I know of - one is to hack the installer package and the other is if you have multiple boot partitions on your Mac and had PT10 installed on one AND you used Migration Assassin to bring it over. ![]() Your bigger problem is PT10 is NOT supported on Yosemite by Avid and never will be. Just checked on the Mackie site for your mixer and depending on the serial number you'll need drivers but unfortunately the last OSX version the drivers are for is Mountain Lion which is two OSX versions before Yosemite. You have issues other than getting that specific Mackie to work there might not be drivers to get it to work with Yosemite and for that you'll need to check with Mackie on that. ![]() Is there a specific driver I need to download? And if so where can I find it? I really need some help! Thanks! Daniel. For some reason the mackie will connect with pro tools for no longer than 2 minutes and then it cuts of and is unable to reconnect to pro tools and the Mac Pro it's self. I'm currently using a Mackie 1220i firewire mixer with a 2013 Mac Pro, OS Yosemite on pro tools 10.
